HYDRO 2025
22 – 24 October 2025, Thessaloniki, Greece
As in previous years, the programme offers a diverse range of sessions, covering all aspects of hydropower—from dam engineering and safety management to environmental concerns, climate-related topics, and project finance. Key themes featured across multiple sessions include pumped storage development, artificial intelligence applications, and enhancing the safety and efficiency of water infrastructure.
Delegates from approximately 70 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Australasia will gather to exchange knowledge and experience.
Availability for the study tours is now limited. Full details are available in the conference brochure (see page 12). Those interested in joining a tour are encouraged to register within the next few days. Participants already registered for the conference may add a tour to their existing booking.
Several official HYDRO 2025 hotels have reached full capacity. Rooms are still available at the Met Hotel—a comfortable and well-priced five-star option located about 15 minutes by car from Helexpo. A shuttle service has been arranged for guests staying there.
A small number of spaces remain in the Exhibition halls. Organisations still considering participation are advised to book a stand as soon as possible, either online or via email/phone.
All participants are warmly invited to Thessaloniki to contribute to meaningful discussions and build valuable connections with hydropower professionals from around the globe.
