PTEA 2026 Congress: Call for Abstracts
18 – 19 November 2026, Madrid, Spain
The Spanish Water Technology Platform (PTEA) today opens the deadline for receiving proposals for the PTEA 2026 Congress, which will be held on November 18 and 19 at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers (ETSII) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
This congress will bring together companies, public administrations, knowledge centres and other key agents to address the challenges and opportunities that will mark the future of the sector. In a context in which water is consolidated as a strategic axis to move towards a more sustainable, resilient and competitive model, the event will offer a comprehensive vision of the main trends and areas of action.
The programme will include presentations, round tables and presentation of success stories, focusing on innovation, digitalisation, circular economy, adaptation to climate change, governance and opportunities for financing and promoting R+D+i. Hydro4U project partner CARTIF will also be part of this event, presenting some of the work carried out within the project.
In this framework, the PTEA invites all interested agents to participate in the Call for Abstracts, by sending proposals that contribute to enriching the content of the congress and to make visible innovative solutions that are already transforming the water sector.
